Relocation Leave

Relocation Leave is an authorized period of absence granted to Service personnel posted between theatres on non-operational tours of duty to facilitate the settling in/relocation process for themselves and for their families.

Relocation Leave is in addition to Annual Leave and for the purposes of this type of leave there are 3 theatres: the UK, NWE and the Rest of World.

On assignments between theatres, or from an overseas location to another overseas location, for a normal tour of duty, 10 working days of Relocation Leave will be granted.

RAF personnel assigned within GB and NI are to be granted 5 day's Relocation Leave which should be applied through the Unit HR of the Gaining Unit
